Roasted pork ribs
There is hardly to find a lover of barbecue or well-cooked pork who does not like glazed roasted pork ribs with fresh garnish and a glass of cold beer.
Ingredients:
- 2-2.5 kg of pork ribs
- 1 tbsp. black peppercorns
- sea salt to taste
- 4 tbsp. Olive oil
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 head of garlic
- 1 glass of dark beer
- rosemary
- sage
- garden mint
Preparation:
Mix salt, pepper, olive oil, honey, brown sugar, soy sauce and beer in a fragrant barbecue sauce and marinate the meat for 2 hours. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Separate the garlic cloves without peeling them. Press them lightly with a cooking knife to open them, so they will release more flavor. Spread the aromatic herbs in a roasting pan, place the meat on top, add the garlic cloves and pour over the sauce in which you marinated the ribs. Bake for about 90 minutes.
If you have a barbecue, you will get an even better result.
You can serve the ribs with roasted vegetables, fresh salads or coleslaw. If you prefer spicy ribs, add ½ tsp. spicy pepper or chili.
