Home made French bread with Camembert and garlic
How often have you heard the phrase “lick your fingers,” and how often the dish really deserved this characteristic expression. Well, here it is right. Only the thought of the smell of fresh baked French bread, garnished with the aroma of baked garlic, is able to “blow up” my senses. And if you add the another spices and the finely-baked Camembert, the feeling becomes incomparable. My advice to everyone is – just try this recipe for French bread with Camembert and garlic.
Cook a homemade French bread with crispy crust.
Knead a soft dough from:
- 500 g of sifted flour
- 7 g dry yeast
- 300 ml of warm water
- 2 tbsp honey, 1 tsp. salt
- 2-3 tbsp. cooking oil
Let the dough rise well and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees.
For roasted garlic you will need:
- 2 heads of garlic
- 40 g butter
- 80 ml of olive oil
- 1 tbsp. honey
- 2 twigs of fresh rosemary
- 2-3 bay leaves
- salt and a pinch of black pepper.
Cut off a garlic lid, season and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. You will need more camembert cheese, cut it on a cross and bake it for 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
