Christmas wreath with Prosecco, oranges and panna cotta

Christmas wreath in three layers

With an impressive dessert prepared the day before Christmas, and time spent for yourself – for a beautiful hairstyle and makeup on the festive night, the chances of getting all the compliments and having a truly glamorous party are on your side. We can safely point out that this jellied Christmas wreath is little bit similar of our „Jelly Cake with Flowers“


For Prosecco layer:

  • 5 gelatin sheets
  • 4 tbsp. sugar
  • 430 ml Prosecco
  • 1 orange
  • 40 g grains of pomegranate

For oranges layer:

  • 6 gelatin sheets
  • 4 tbsp. sugar
  • 640 ml orange juice

For panna cotta layer:

  • 5 gelatin sheets
  • 225 ml low fat fresh milk
  • 600 ml of cream
  • 90 g sugar
  • seeds from vanilla pod


Use a silicone cake mold.

Start with Prosecco layer.

Soak the gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes. Heat in a small saucepan 140 ml of water and sugar over medium heat until the sugar has melted. Drain the gelatin and put it in the sugar syrup. Remove from heat, allow to cool for 10 minutes and add the Prosecco. Pour half of the mixture into silicone form and cool for 1 hour in the refrigerator. For oranges layer

make sugar syrup. Heat 140 ml of orange juice in a small saucepan, add the sugar and stir until melted. Add the gelatin as you prepare the first layer and instead of Prosecco add the remaining amount of orange juice. Pour over a Prosecco layer and cool for 4 hours.

For panna cotta layer

soak the gelatin. Put the milk, cream, sugar and vanilla seeds in a small saucepan and heat over medium heat. Add the drained gelatin and stir until melted. Allow it to cool for 30 minutes, then add it to the oranges layer. Cool for 4 hours.
