French chocolate truffles
The history of chocolate truffles began over a century ago in the French town of Chambéry. The idea for them came to the local confectioner, whose chocolate ended before Christmas. But as we know most of the ingenious ideas occur when we fall into deadlock. So, the man did not surrender, gathered as much chocolate as he can from his colleagues and mixed up the first chocolate truffles.
For an unforgettable chocolate flavor, prepare a Ganache from:
- 125 ml of liquid cream
- 200 g of black chocolate
- 50 g butter
- 100 g of natural cocoa powder.
Leave the cream to boil and flood the crushed chocolate and butter chopped into cubes. Stir until a smooth mixture is obtained. Allow the mixture to cool, cover and store in the refrigerator for several hours.
Use a spoon to form small balls. Roll into cocoa or coconut shavings. Store in a refrigerator and eat with pleasure.
